With decades of experience and a heart for teaching, our team creates a safe, structured, and inspiring space for kids to grow in confidence, discipline, and character.

Sensei Nicholas
3rd Degree Black Belt · Certified BodyTalk Practitioner
Sensei Nicholas

Nicholas Tan is a 3rd-degree black belt in Karate with over 22 years of training experience. A former Singapore National Champion and representative at the World Karate Championships, Nicholas combines technical mastery with a deep passion for nurturing young learners.

Believing that children learn best through hands-on experiences, Nicholas designs classes that build both skill and character, helping kids grow in confidence, focus, and resilience, while enjoying the journey of self-discovery.

In addition to his martial arts background, Nicholas is also a Certified BodyTalk Practitioner, which equips him with unique insights into the mind-body connection. While Karate remains the foundation of his teaching, his understanding of holistic development supports his ability to create a safe, balanced, and encouraging environment for every child.

Sensei Siti

Siti brings a rare nurturing blend of early childhood expertise and martial arts passion to every class she teaches. Holding a Diploma in Early Childhood Development and Education, she brings over 6 years of dedicated experience working with young children, giving her a deep understanding of how kids think, learn, and thrive at each stage of their development.

With 5 years of karate training under her belt, Siti is passionate about using the art of karate as a vehicle for children’s growth building not just physical skills, but confidence, focus, and a love for learning that extends far beyond the dojo.

At the heart of Siti’s teaching philosophy is a simple but powerful belief; every child learns at their own pace. She works hard to create a supportive and encouraging environment where children feel safe to challenge themselves, celebrate every milestone “Big or small” and genuinely enjoy the journey of learning karate.

Whether it’s a child first punch or their first belt grading. Siti shows up with warmth, patience and enthusiasm making sure every student feels seen valued and inspired to keep going.

Saturdays, 2pm–3pm at Waterloo Street. The trial class is free and you stay and watch the whole hour.
